To me the people who design, create, build, manufacture, sell, photograph, and talk about the field of carnival and circus modeling are doing a service to help keep the history of our traveling amusement industry alive. For that reason I have added this page and welcome anyone involved to submit their website, blog, or social media page so I can help bring attention to their work. Carnival Historical & Model Builders Society
Since its founding in 1966, the purpose of the organization has been to preserve carnival history through model building; historical research & documentation; and archiving memorabilia. Their publication CARNIVAL MIDWAY is printed every two months and includes historical articles, modeling plans, photographs, new member data, member ads, current news, etc. Back issues are available for $4 each plus postage.
Annual dues are $25 for US residents, $30 for Canadian residents, and $35 for residents of all other countries. We hope you will consider joining the Carnival Historical & Model Builders Society!
